Sims 3 SoundKiller Mods – Call Boxes, Simoleons & Hand Clapping

I decided to kill a few random sounds that have been annoying me for some time thanks  to JT’s quickie tutorial on how to kill sounds at the bottom of  his MTS submission.

I have now silenced the Supernatural Call Boxes:

Call Box Silenced

And I’ve also silenced Hand Clapping & Simoleon Transaction Sounds:

clapping and simoleons silenced

A few notes about this random killing:

The call box is kind of creepy silent; but it is less annoying, in my opinion.

The only hand clapping sound I didn’t alter was the wedding hand clapping, because I find it quiet and polite.  With this mod, one cannot hear the sims clap like a bunch of fools…nor can one hear toddlers clap.

As for the simoleons transactions, these are the sounds that are made whenever a person sells something from a sim’s inventory or any other budget transactions found within live mode of the game. (But not the easel, because that was under a different file.  I didn’t silence that one here.)   The simoleon transaction sounds are very noticeable if you ever played with a bunch of sims in a casino; and then, when you add all the hand clapping on top of it–it’s enough to a make a simmer crack!

Sims 3 – The Addams Family Mansion

64 x 64 lot, $197,710 before placement

I must confess, I don’t like building and decorating homes, but my Addams family needed their mansion.  After looking over the only internet blueprint I could find, I discovered that the outside of the house wasn’t a thing like the inside of their house.  I guess this is normal for television homes, but I tried my best to marry the two.  If you download this mansion, you will need to put some ‘love’ into it.  It could use a few torture devices, and things like that, but I will leave that up to your discretion.

The mansion does not require any user-created CC and has been checked over with Custard.  Also, I went into BuyDebug to removed any spawners that might be on the lot.  (I know how those suckers like to multiply.) The mansion only uses expansion pack items, and a few store times.  The only thing that I would consider “important” for the overall look are the windows.  Those are store windows known as “Victorian Double Window”, also found in the Regal Living sets.

(The walk path can be extended to the sidewalk.)

Here are a few pictures of the inside:

Sims 3 – The Addams Family

I’ve had the guilty pleasure of hogging the Addams Family all to myself ever since Supernatural arrived on the scene, and now I am here to make amends by sharing them with you.

Grandmama Addams

Gomez Addams

Morticia Addams (Supernatural: Witch)

Uncle Fester

Wednesday Addams

Pugsley Addams

About the Family:  In my game, I’ve changed up the family links a bit due to Morticia’s wandering eye for Lurch and Uncle Fester.  So you may want to consider making Lurch and Fester her brothers when creating your household.  (Or, hey, you may not; but I warned you.)

The family uses almost all expansion packs in either hair or clothing.  The only exception would be Pugsley’s hair, there is a pattern used on Wednesday’s dress from ModTheSims, and I also used Velocitygrass’s Stencil Remover to take the plastic off their clothes.  I should also probably mention that I play with voice sounds off. You will need to adjust the voices, because I have no idea what they sound like.  No additional sliders were used in the making of these sims.  The files enclosed are .sim files and are ready to be placed in your SavedSims folder.

Sims 3 – Lady from Lady & The Tramp

I didn’t make this, but a dear friend of mine, Kirasuri, did.  She isn’t as psycho about the Sims as I am, and she can be typically found playing lots of other games instead, but I think she did a really awesome job on this sim.  }i{

Sims 3 – SG-1 Sims

I posted these guys elsewhere, but I will place them here, too.

The Stargate SG-1 Team is prepared and ready for adventure in your game!

Teal’C Young
(I am not sure where I got the last name, but I think it was show-related somewhere.)

Daniel Jackson

Samantha Carter
(a.k.a. Brigadier General Samantha Carter)

Jack O’Neill
(a.k.a. Lieutenant General Jonathan J. “Jack” O’Neill)

About the team: When I made them, I tried to keep to the base game and expansions only.  I believe I was successful.  Teal’C is wearing a Late Night hair, Daniel is wearing a Generations hair, Jack is wearing an Ambitions hair, and Sam is wearing a hidden stylist Ambitions hair. I didn’t have a gold tattoo for Teal’C’s forehead, but the symbolic hair worked for me.  No additional sliders were used when creating any of them.  The files enclosed are .sim files and are ready to be placed in your SavedSims folder.

Sims 3 Tuning Mod – No NPCs Performing for Tips

This is just a simple tuning mod I made to rid myself of the annoying Showtime NPCs.  I like to play themed neighborhoods, and the performance sims from the Showtime expansion tend to ruin the mood.  This mod reduces the chance to 0% that a Showtime NPC will perform on a community lot.
